Geoffrey M. Palmore

II am excited about this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Geoffrey Palmore. I am originally from Houston, Tx. I moved to San Francisco, CA about 5 years ago to attend the Academy of Art University to pursue my dream of becoming a designer and photographer. About six months after I moved here,  I was hired as the Sr. Creative Design Specialist for Converse Inc., San Francisco. I remained in that position as a lead designer for 4 years, where I was responsible for working one on one with customers, helping them come up with ideas and inspiration. I would then take those ideas and turn them into designs, that we then print directly onto various products.

As a natural leader and the driving force of artistic creativity and innovation among the staff and department, I designed and customized garment printing templates that expanded the Converse brand and production. I am also a very effective communicator, developer, and planner. I was responsible for creating and implementing a new strategy that was used to host private custom events. This strategy I developed has been adopted by Converse, and is now implemented at all 5 custom design locations (BOS, NYC, LA, SF, and NJ).

My abilities and experiences are far-ranging, especially in the graphic design and photography area. I am highly proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Lightroom, and countless other software programs, as well as being very experienced and knowledgable in all windows programs, such as Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook, Keynote, etc. I am a very experienced photographer as well. I specialize in Lifestyle, Landscape, Products, and Portraits.

I believe I have all the necessary skills to see a project from an idea through conceptual development and design, to a final product. Trouble-shooting computer software and hardware is an added skillset. I am a team player to the core, but I also excel when working alone. I hope my website has inspired you to go out and chase your dreams too. I look forward to connecting with more creative individuals. I also look forward to growing and developing more artistically both personally and professionally. If you have any other questions for me, feel free to contact me in the section below. I will do my best to respond back as soon as possible. Thank you!
